Cook School provides support for students who have previously found mainstream education to be educationally and socially challenging. There are three classes for Years 7-12 students who present with a predominately internalising mental health support need.

Cook School High School ILSMH program - Acacia Secondary College

Cook School sets challenging, yet attainable goals for all students. The emphasis is to provide students with a safe and caring environment in which they can access quality teaching and learning and be supported in building their capacity to self-regulate. Cook School ILSMH High School Program (Acacia) delivers the curriculum through the Big Picture Learning Credential with students attending four days a week and engaging in outlearning one day per week, building towards two days per week.

Student enrolment for all our programs takes place via a school performance directorate placement panel.
